Burns Barn Brewery

Light copper to light brown, very clear from lagering, white to off white head with good retention makes this fairly bitter beer a unique standout. Having a malty, biscuit and/or light caramel flavor with a dry finish makes this a very special brew. Brewed by Altbier fanboy James Carlson.

You won't find a more accurate "clone" beer than this! Brewed to mimic the most popular Pale Ale in the country and one of the first recognized "craft beers" in the country, this is a bright and smooth pale ale with a perfect balance of bitterness, aroma, and flavor hops.

Far from Common, this beer is from a style uniquely from San Francisco. This style of beer is also known as "Steam Beer". It was brewed as Lager beers were in style, but lagering temperatures where not possible in San Francisco at the time. A great old style kept alive today by Anchor Steam and ofcource Todd Burns.

This is a typical German Pilsner, light, crisp and refreshing. Very clear.
