A faux Lager brewed with Norwegian kveik yeast, the simple malt base is inspired by the pervasive American Lager style and then bolstered with a small amount of light caramel malt to lend a golden hue. A modest dose of Vanguard hops provide just enough bitterness to balance. The real star of the show is Omega's Lutra yeast strain and its incredible versatility. This is the 4th beer in our Original series.

The first beer brewed by Providence Brewing Company in early 2021. One of the signature brews of Bavaria, Hefeweizen is a medium-bodied, effervescent ale practically exploding with yeast and wheat malt character – kind of like a liquid multigrain bread. Our version is 100% traditional - cloudy, malty, and spicy, with a smooth mouthfeel and dense, whipped-cream head.

Additions of lactose, vanilla, and blackberry construct this illusion and make this recipe truly one-of-a-kind. Milkshake flavored beer, what could be better?

Inspired by weekend brunch, what began as an experimental oat-based pale ale evolved into the perfect ingredient in a brunchtime beermosa. Featuring three malts and one juicy hops, Belgian Mimosa is an over-the-top fruity beer that could easily pass as an unfiltered sparkling white wine. Beer nerds, here’s the mimosa mixer you’ve been looking for. Flaked oats in the mash lend a silky texture that is otherwise difficult to achieve, while malted wheat and barley supply the bulk of the fermentable sugars. Four late-kettle additions of Nelson Sauvin hops deliver the classic gooseberry and white wine notes for which that cultivar is known, and the Belgium Ale DK yeast accentuates the hops flavors and bitterness.

Prepare your palate for flavors both copious and complex -- from tart and sour to subtle and sweet, thanks to the late addition of copious amounts of raspberry. This fruited sour starts out as a Belgian-style wheat, but things get funky pretty darn quick as the Philly sour yeast goes to work turning this into a beer you'll enjoy all summer long.

Every ingredient in a beer should serve a purpose, and sometimes it only takes a little of this and a bit of that to create a well-balanced, focused beer. Take this easy-drinking blonde ale, for example. Simplicity is the name of the game, using just two types of German malt, two types of hops (Columbus and Saphir), and an American Ale yeast. Add in a large amount of peach puree to turn this Golden Boy blonde ale into a Peach Boy, perfect for those warm, summer days.
