Umbra is a Latin word that means "shadow" and refers to the darkest part of any shadow. This past April, Waco, Texas experiencd the Umbra of the Moon passing between the Earth and Sun. Waco saw what Umbra really means. It's a dark lager that deviates from the norm of dark beers. And it's name is quite fitting during the 100% totality Wacoans experienced.
