“We’ll Be Right Back” is next up in our series of IPA’s designed by our production staff! We asked them to take a stab at retooling the base DDH Juicy IPA recipe for us, since we’re always tweaking it and searching for improvements. As with the latest IPAs, the production staff are the ones who are most closely following the beers from start to finish, so we wanted to let their minds wander with some combinations based on their personal experiences with the hops.
Mashed with @riverbendmalt 2-Row and a heftier-than-normal amount of @proximitymalt Wheat Malt and Oat Malt, along with a kiss of Flaked Wheat and Flaked Oats. Hopped in the Whirlpool with Comet for a classic Orange Julius note, fermented with our House IPA yeast and spunded for dat natty carb. Dry hopped at first with Belma for a bit of a Strawberry undertone on top of the citrus, and then dry hopped a second time with more Comet and Belma, along with Meridian and Strata to collectively push a much more berry-meets-citrus vibe than what we’re used to.
We experience the aforementioned things: mixed berries with a Tangerine Zest dusting, one of those gelato whips where two flavors are swirled together and this one is Strawberry and Orange and then somebody went and plopped some Peaches up on that bishhh, probably some Grape Hi-Chew whispers, and a teeny tiny bit of dankness on the finish. Very familiar, but uniquely bright for us! It ticks all the boxes we always look for

We’ve been making some tweaks in our IPA process slowly, but we wanted to throw together a new IPA that allowed us to showcase these changes on top of a lighter body, in the hopes of achieving a better balance. We found it with “Computers Can Do That?”, and we wanted to repeat that process with a new hop and see if the results compute, and thus, “Computers Are Everything” was born!
Mashed with @Riverbend 2-Row, @Proximity Mid-Atlantic Wheat and Dextrin, and some Flaked Wheat for good measure. Hopped in the whirlpool with Citra, fermented with our House IPA yeast, dry-hopped with Mosaic, and then dry-hopped yet again with MORE Mosaic, and a slathering of Citra Lupomax, but this time we used Michigan Copper as the supporting hop (instead of Belma like last time!).
We experience Mango sorbet drizzled with Lemon preserves, one cup of well-timed thirst-quenching Hawaiian Punch, a whole mouthful of mixed berries, and a pronounced “sticky-icky” dankness to tie it all together. We’re stoked on this one, ferrrrr sure. Slightly different, but elevated! Computers, amiright?!
Fun fact: This base will continue to be used as a platform for what varying single hops can provide to a blend. This Michigan Copper is equally fruity and dank, and we can’t wait for the next one! Learning is fun!

This brew is started with a generous bed of 2 Row then add a rich balance of Carmel, Carapils, Barley and Chocolate grains to bring out the traditional caramel and toffee flavors and balance to the beer with a light hop character.
Double Stack is our Imperial Breakfast Stout aged on whole bean coffee from Mostra Coffee with and maple syrup.
The coffee’s dark cherry flavors and spicy undertones weave into the rich milky sweet stout like a chocolate-covered espresso bean melting on your tongue. Bitter then sweet. Sweet then bitter. It’s bittersweet.

For the past few years, Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin has been released in such limited quantities that it has been available only at the brewery retail shop in Fort Bragg, California. However, we have received so many requests for this beer that for the 12th anniversary, North Coast Brewing produced enough Old Rasputin XII to put into broader distribution. There’s certainly not a flood of it, but it is available in select areas.
We guarantee that the Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin XII will be worth the search. It is amazing stuff. Aging in oak whiskey barrels adds a level of complexity that amplifies the espresso/chocolate notes in the flavor profile and takes this unique beer to new heights.

We’re always striving to make the best beer possible and we’re equally motivated to make a non-alc beer that stands up to the same set of expectations.
ABV aside, our non-alcoholic beer has a lot in common with our beer beer. Both are made with the same ingredients (barley, oats, yeast, hops, etc.) and the same intent (make something that tastes really good!). As a result, Stay Classy pours just like a beer, with good head retention and soft, pale yellow body. Multiple dry hop additions translate into pronounced hop aromatics and flavours — think citrus zest and yellow grapefruit alongside dank West Coast hop notes for good measure. It’s dry, refreshing and crushable, with a pleasant bitter finish.
With no alcohol but all the flavour, this stout packs a real punch! A pillar in our non-alcoholic beer collection, this brew has the familiar notes and feel of a regular stout. Oh Mama is a Traditional Golden American Lager brewed for the Steel City, in collaboration with American Rock band Styx (@Styxtheband).
