(Cask) Laden with oats for a silky smooth mouthfeel, this dollop of delicious darkness has all the malty chocolate character you would expect, along with subtle hints of dates and coffee.

(Keg) This is part of the Bristol brewery's core range, and it's juicy, tropical and refreshing, thanks to a mouthwatering mix of Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado hops, along with out characterful house yeast.

(Cask) You've got to love Downlands' beer descriptions: "Strong pale brewed with Talus, Citra and Mosaic to commemorate the rollercoaster ride that is characteristic of the first 100 days of the second term of the orange manbaby."

(Keg) Citra and Peacharine hops contort your palate to oscillate between kiwi, cantaloupe and the refreshing fizz of sherbet chew bars, while a nectar-like richness gives way to an intensely moreish finish... (writes our board editor after six pints...)

(Keg) Verdant never disappoints, and this addition to the core range is a superbly sessionable, moreish, hop-saturated New England-style pale ale with a trio of wonderfully fruity hops—Motueka from New Zealand and Mosaic & Strata from the States.

(Cask) Brewed on the Burton Union system and named after the year it was patented, 1838 showcases the finest ingredients, blending Maris Otter malt with Savinjski Goldings hops to create a full-bodied beer with a light amber hue. Expect rich, biscuity malt flavours, balanced by floral hop notes and a crisp, refreshing finish.
