Our harvest seasonal wet-hopped pale ale in collaboration with our friends at Live Wire Hops. 30 pounds of fresh & wet whole-cone Michigan Copper hops were harvested and driven straight to us the same morning that they were added to this beer. There are no such things as mistakes, only Happy Accidents! Somehow a batch of our Das Booty Octoberfest got fermented with a West Coast Ale yeast. Opoops! Instead of dumping it, we embraced it, nurtured it, and finished the beer. We leaned into the West Coast aspect and Dry hopped with Hops you'd typically find in an IPA. The result is a Malt/Hop balance similar to a Red IPA. Fantastic Aroma, big Malt backbone, and low bitterness. A serendipitous convergence of opposing ingredients creating something special that we would have not have conceived without fate intervening. Piña CoLoco is our 2nd contest collaboration with The Forest City Brewers. This is member Mike Bohn's winning recipe that he was invited to the brewery to help us brew! A light and effervescent Wheat Beer with Toasted Coconut, Raw Coconut, and Pineapple. The Pineapple aroma greets you as you go for that first sip, then it's balanced sweetness up front fading into a subtle yet lingering coconut. Teleport yourself to the Caribbean sip by sip. If you close your eyes you can almost hear the waves lapping against the sand.
Sentinel Sphere is a super juicy IPA brewed with an experimental ingredient from New Zealand called Phantasm. Phantasm is a natural Thiol precursor powder extracted from Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grapes that works synergistically with certain yeast strains and hop varietals to dramatically boost the Tropical and Exotic Fruit flavors already present in the oils of the hops. And we added a ton of hops to this one! Citra, Mosaic, Moutere and Sabro to be exact. We hope you enjoy this one as much as we do!
