How to get started with Taplist.io's Toast integration

Taking advantage of this integration is really simple. Here's how:

  • Get an account. You'll need a Taplist.io account on our Pro plan. We are famous for our friendly support, no-contract pricing, and great service. Get started now.
  • Enable API access on Toast. The integration uses Toast's API, which is part of the Advanced Restaurant Management add-on. Make sure that's enabled on your Toast account (Toast may charge for this add-on).
  • Create your credentials and connect. In Toast's Integrations dashboard, create API credentials with the menus:read scope and grab your Location GUID, then enter them on Taplist.io's POS Sync Integration Page.

The integration uses the Toast API, which is included with Toast's "Advanced Restaurant Management" add-on. You'll need that add-on enabled to generate the credentials we use to read your menus. Toast may charge an additional fee for it.

No, this integration is included at no extra cost on our Pro plan. Note that Toast's Advanced Restaurant Management add-on, which provides the API access, may carry its own fee from Toast.

No. We request read-only access to your menus (the "menus:read" scope), so this is a strictly one-way sync — we read your menu data, but we never alter anything on your Toast account.

There's no limit! Taplist.io supports managing as many TVs as you like. Many of our customers use multiple TVs. You can configure TVs to all show the same menu, or show different things on different TVs.
