Member Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This notice explains how your information is handled when you join or manage a membership, club, or other subscription program (a "Program") through this site or any page hosted at mymug.club or by Taplist.io. These pages are operated by Splatboard LLC, the company behind mymug.club and Taplist.io ("Splatboard," "we," or "us"), on behalf of the business that offers the Program (the "Business"). This notice is specific to members; Splatboard's full Privacy Policy covers everything else we do and applies to anything not described here. If we make material changes to this notice, we will let you know before they take effect. Questions or requests? Reach us at https://taplist.io/support.
The Business and us
The Business you join controls its member list, including your record in it. We store and process that information on the Business's behalf and under its instructions — we run the platform; the member relationship is the Business's. The exception is payments: we process membership payments ourselves, so we are responsible for the payment and billing records described below.
A Business may also add information about you to its member list itself — for example, by importing an existing roster — even if you have never used this site.
What we collect
- Enrollment information: your name, email address, phone number, and any additional fields the Business asks for, along with your membership details (program, tier, and billing cycle).
- Payment records: if you buy a paid membership, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your card details — we never store your full card number — and we keep records of your charges, renewals, and refunds.
- Membership activity: things the Business records about your membership, such as check-ins, perk and reward redemptions, and membership changes.
- Messages: the messages sent to you through our platform and their delivery status (for example, whether an email was delivered, bounced, or opened).
- Sign-in and log information: when you use these pages or the member portal, we collect standard log data such as your IP address, device and browser information, and your active sign-in sessions (which you can review and revoke from your account page).
How we use it
We use this information to provide your membership: enrolling you, processing payments and refunds, keeping your membership records, sending transactional messages (receipts, renewal reminders, one-time sign-in codes), securing the platform and preventing fraud, and complying with the law.
We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, and we do not share one Business's member information with any other Business.
Who receives it
- The Business: it receives the information you provide and your membership activity. Its own use of that information is governed by its practices and any privacy notice it provides, not by this notice.
- Service providers: vendors that help us run the platform, such as payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and text message delivery, under privacy commitments. The categories of these providers, and the ones we name, are described in the full Privacy Policy .
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information in response to a subpoena, court order, or other governmental request, or to protect rights, property, or safety, as described in the full Privacy Policy (which also covers what happens in a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition).
Marketing messages
The Business may send you marketing messages through our platform only where you have consented. You can opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in an email, by replying STOP to a text message, or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about your membership, like receipts and renewal reminders.
Your rights and choices
From your account page you can update your contact information, manage your memberships, and review or revoke your sign-in sessions. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information. Because the Business controls its member list, you can send those requests to the Business directly, or contact us and we will route your request and help resolve it — requests handled either way get to the same place. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
How long we keep information
Enrollment information and membership activity are kept on the Business's behalf for as long as your record exists in its member list, until the Business deletes it or its account ends. Payment and billing records are kept as long as required for tax, accounting, and other legal purposes, generally seven years. Messages and their delivery status, and sign-in and log data, are kept for a limited period to provide message history, secure the platform, and demonstrate compliance with messaging laws.
Children
These pages are not directed to children under 13, and Program memberships are limited to adults, and Programs with alcohol-related benefits to adults of legal drinking age; if you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
